California dreaming in Americanos campaign
The iconic brand offers another glimpse of its spring/summer 2022 collection. Charismatic models show off denim sets, holiday dresses and Americanos loungewear on a Los Angeles beach.
Life is better at the beach is what the stars of Americanos’ California shoot seem to be saying. Carefree days, sand, hair blowing in the wind, surfing, sunshine, and freedom. A little like Beverly Hills 90210 and a little like Coachella.
A second drop of the iconic Americanos brand, making its comeback, features primarily white denim sets, denim shirts and jackets, boot cut jeans, now firmly back in favour, branded underwear, sweatshirts, tops, also strapless, t-shirts, loungewear, not only for the home, and unpretentious dresses in summer colours with designs drawing on the Y2K vibe. Men’s collection also features loose jeans, denim shackets and t-shirts. The accessories that count are retro sneakers which give the finishing touch to the casual look.
In line with the campaign slogan ‘For Every Body’, soft, timeless and durable pieces have been made that everybody will love. Functional design thinking, premium quality materials and a sustainable manufacturing mindset are what makes Americanos the new favourite brand of the TikTok generation. Millenials grew up with the label, and the brand’s revival combines the nostalgia of today’s adults with a youthful outlook on the future.
The campaign was shot in Los Angeles. Jason Lee Parry has a knack for funny, surprising, and sensual shots. He has photographed Emily Ratajkowski, Luka Sabbat and Stella Maxwell and has worked for The Kooples and Playboy. On the set he was accompanied by top Polish professionals: Ewelina Gralak, who perfectly captured the true spirit of California with her nonchalant styling, make-up artist Wilson and hair stylist Łukasz Pycior.
The pictures show the mesmerising Tess Carter, a favourite of Area and Moschino, also known from Allure magazine, and Phillip Bread, a Comanche model already acknowledged by American Vogue.
