CCC, predicting what features and competences should have the retailer of the future, is today one of the retailers developing its presence in digital channels most strongly, and the pandemic caused an additional intensification of these activities. The group already has 60 e-commerce platforms in its portfolio at very different stages of development. Some of them are internal "start-ups".
Our projects are implemented mostly through internal activities, not outsourcing, which is why we need both young development-oriented talents and experienced experts guided by the principle of "impossible does not exist". - With the further digital transformation of the CCC Group, we are increasingly recruiting for the positions of e.g. specialists responsible for internet content, online campaigns, content in applications or product catalogs. We are also looking for people with experience in e-commerce or marketing automation that enables the collection of behavioral data, their analysis and, as a result, a better adaptation of the campaign, display in stores or product to the client's current needs. Thanks to such analyzes, we are also able to make accurate decisions regarding the future offer. We also want to acquire young talents from the market. This year we have launched a summer internship program for students and graduates in the areas of e-commerce, IT, marketing, CRM and controlling. The pandemic meant that CCC had to learn remote work overnight, which was not natural for the organization at the time. However, it turned out that the company was technologically well prepared for it. The company's online work and reporting systems, such as Jira, Cofluence, Power BI, SAP Analitic Cloud, and numerous solutions ensuring electronic document circulation have found widespread use. Today, many people indicate that using online tools, among others for internal communication is more effective than the previous model of "physical presence", and CCC recognizes remote work as an equal model of providing work.
E-commerce is today the core of the CCC Group, and not just one of the competitive advantages - the company has in its portfolio 60 e-commerce platforms, including mobile applications. Add to this the esize.me service, i.e. 3D foot scanning (scanners in CCC and eobuwie.pl stores) or 2D (functionality of the eobuwie.pl application, soon available also in the CCC application). The success of the e-commerce sales channel in CCC is associated with the development of technology, but also the improvement of marketing communication and the product offer of areas also significantly strengthened. The company's activities in the near future will rely on the development of e-commerce solutions for new markets and focusing on e-commerce technology platforms that condition a higher quality of customer service.
