CCC is the first Polish signatory of the Charter of Fashion Industry Action for Climate

The CCC Group joined the United Nations Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action initiative. Thus, the company is among the global leaders in the industry who commit themselves to jointly fight for sustainable fashion and conduct business in a way that counteracts climate change. CCC consistently implements actions for responsible business meeting the goals of the GO.22 Sustainable Development Strategy.

The Charter of Fashion Industry Action for Climate, created under the aegis of the UN Climate Program (UNFCCC), is an agreement developed during the COP 24 summit in Katowice. It has 16 goals that signatories commit to supporting or implementing, both through adherence to the rules within their own organizations and through dialogue and cooperation. The Charter's main commitments include efforts to limit global temperature rise to no more than 1.5 degrees, reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 and achieve net zero emissions by 2050.

Over 100 international companies have already signed the pledge. Among them there are world leaders in sustainable development, incl. Adidas AG, Burberry, CHANEL, Esprit, H&M Group, Hugo Boss AG, Inditex, Kering Group, Nike, Inc., PUMA S.E., Ralph Lauren, Tchibo and TOM TAILOR.

The signing of the Charter is associated with the pursuit of CCC towards climate neutrality and revealing progress in this direction. The goals set in the program are already included in the activities and development plans, as sustainable development is one of the five pillars of the Group's business strategy - GO.22. The company minimizes the impact of its activities on the environment and supports pro-environmental and pro-social activities. In September last year, the CCC Group obtained the "A" rating awarded by MSCI ESG to companies that are distinguished by their commitment to environmental protection, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance.
