A capsule collection designed by a student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź has just arrived in stores. This is the result of the "Design a collection for CCC" competition, the first edition of which took place this spring. One of its winners is Joanna Wilczyńska, who created a unique capsule collection for the Lasocki brand. It is available for sale both in CCC stationary stores and online.
- We set a real challenge for the students participating in the competition. We wanted the designs to be not only fashionable and in line with current trends, but also comfortable to wear. All these elements are included in the award-winning capsule for the Lasocki brand. Moreover, this project uses recycled materials, which is in line with our business approach. We are all more than pleased that we were able to introduce this collection for sale. I hope that customers will like it as much as we do - says Valeriya Musina, Creative Director of the CCC Group.
The competition "Design a collection for CCC" is open for fine arts students. It aims to identify the promising talents among the young people who design shoes, handbags and accessories. This year, the students' task was to design a capsule collection in line with one of the two main themes: "Be Fashion - Be Trendy - Be Eco" or "Fashion in the post-pandemic world".
In 2021, CCC carried out three editions of the competition - in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, the Faculty of Arts of the University of Technology and Humanities in Radom and the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. Among all the winning works, the company chose one capsule and launched it for sale. The collection by Joanna Wilczyńska, a student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, can be purchased both in CCC stationary stores and online.
The CCC Group plans to carry out the next editions of the competition in 2022. - This is not the end of our cooperation with young designers. Soon we will start the next editions of the competition. We would like to bring the best ideas to life as collections again - says Valeriya Musina.
