First HalfPrice store opens in Zagreb
Croatia’s first store of the HalfPrice chain has just opened its doors in Zagreb, offering a wide range of branded products at bargain prices. The chain is also present in Poland, Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic. Since its inception in May, the brand has launched about 40 outlets, of which six are located on foreign markets. Soon, the chain will also go online.
HalfPrice is a modern store concept in the off-price segment, offering a wide variety of popular brands at attractive prices, including clothing, footwear, accessories, cosmetics, toys and home furnishings.
“We regard it as our strategic goal to roll out the HalfPrice chain across Central Europe, and its announced launch in Croatia is a stepping stone in that direction. It represents a success of the entire team, preceded by in-depth research to gauge customer expectations specific for that part of the region. We believe that the off-price concept will soon win the hearts of Croatian bargain hunters,” says Adam Holewa, HalfPrice’s CEO.
Croatia’s first HalfPrice store is located in Zagreb, at the Westgate Zagreb shopping centre. “HalfPrice catches on in every single market where it appears, primarily as a result of its wide offering, but also new service quality in the burgeoning off-price segment, previously absent from our part of Europe,” says Joanna Czyżewska, HalfPrice’s Vice President for Sales.
The HalfPrice store in Zagreb is the brand’s sixth foreign location. Soon, the chain will also launch online sales.
