The CCC Group invests in a company specializing in express delivery of parcels
The CCC Group, a leader in the footwear sector and e-commerce market in Central and Eastern Europe, will become a minority shareholder of Xpress Delivery - a technology company developing express deliveries. The companies started cooperation 9 months ago by introducing the CCC Express service, which met with the interest of consumers. Today, within its framework, CCC customers in 37 cities in Poland can use the free delivery of products purchased online, even in 90 minutes. The Group's investment is the next stage in deepening cooperation between companies that intend to significantly expand the scope of the CCC Express service in the coming months.
Xpress Delivery provides logistics and IT solutions in the area of express delivery of parcels. - For nine months, together with Xpress Delivery, we have been successfully developing the CCC Express service, which has met with the interest of customers. The CCC Express service was introduced in November last year. To use it, all you have to do is select the "same-day delivery" option when shopping in the online stores of the network. Then the courier will deliver products to the customer even in 90 minutes from the moment of placing the order. Shipments are made directly from stationary stores.
Due to the great interest of buyers in express deliveries, the CCC Group is gradually expanding the number of places where this service is available. Currently, it is already 37 cities in Poland. On the other hand, in September, eobuwie.pl customers in the largest agglomerations in the country and in Prague, the Czech Republic, will also be able to use the same-day deliveries.
- Express deliveries directly from stores complete our omnichannel model. We see great interest in this service, which is why we are gradually introducing it in new locations. What's more, based on the experience of CCC, we also implement this functionality for eobuwie.pl customers, and in a wider time perspective, we will also make it available to Modivo consumers - says Konrad Jezierski, Omnichannel Development Director at the CCC Group.
