Start of the CCC mobile application in Romania

CCC, the leader of the footwear sector in Central and Eastern Europe, has launched a mobile application in Romania, thus strengthening its presence in one of the key markets of the Group's operations. Romania is the fifth foreign market, after the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria, where CCC customers can use the mobile application. Users in Romania, in addition to access to the mobile application, will also gain the opportunity to join the CCC Club offering numerous benefits and individual special offers. The CCC Application and Club is the next stage in the development of the CCC business in Romania. From March 2020, customers in this market can use the ccc.eu platform with home delivery.

The CCC Group is expanding its presence in Romania by multi-channel and is recording strong increases in e-commerce sales. Currently, there are 72 brick-and-mortar stores (55 in June 2018). In 2019, the CCC Group had approx. 5 percent. share in the local market of the footwear industry and a strong second position. So far, four sales channels have been available here: CCC stationary stores, the eobuwie.pl online store (epantofi.ro), the Modivo premium fashion online platform and the ccc.eu online store. The fifth channel is the CCC application, already available in the Google Play store and in the App Store.

- This is one of the most promising markets for us. Romanian customers are strongly fashion-oriented and e-commerce is one of the largest increases in Europe here. We want to fully use this potential, developing our presence in the omnichannel model as widely as possible - says Karol Półtorak, Vice President of the Management Board of CCC S.A.

- Apart from economic aspects, Romania is the market where we have the largest, almost 90% share of mobile devices among all markets where CCC e-commerce is already operating. From our perspective, it will be a natural step for users to infiltrate the Internet channel into the mobile application. It is undoubtedly one of the most important markets with interesting prospects for the development of e-commerce. - says Michał Pachnik, who manages the mobile application project.

The CCC application makes online shopping easier for customers thanks to the use of modern functionalities such as Visual Search - searching for products based on a photo (available in the iOS operating system, soon also on Android) or "Discover" (like / not like) - searching by evaluating products available in shop. The customer can also check the availability of products in stationary stores or find the nearest store. Users have access to the current promotional offer online and in stationary stores.

At the end of June 2020, the CCC Group was present in 29 countries - in 23 through stationary stores, and in 17 through the online channel. The group has a total of over 60 online platforms throughout Europe: through the domains eobuwie.pl, ccc.eu, MODIVO, DeeZee and Gino Rossi. In 2019, CCC customers purchased over 52 million pairs of shoes in all sales channels.
